Oh my goodness….have I been hard at work today!?! My totally tubular pals showed up this morning at 9:00 – Kelly, Lacey & Amy, SNAPS TO YOU! – and we started tackling Ellie’s room. When we were forced to wait for paint to dry, we hit up Owen’s room with full force. All of Wikipedia could not accurately express how good it feels right now!
I consider both rooms still a work-in-progress, so I’ll have to wait a day or two to post the full “reveal”…for today, I’m highlighting the wall color change in Ellie’s room. It went from a ridiculously crazy lime green (well, it was probably really neon green, but my pride won’t let me admit that. Whatever it was, it literally GLOWED!) to a gorgeous GRAY! I know, “strange choice” you say….well, I have read that Gray is the color that children are most creative in, and plus….it GOES WITH PINK AND YELLOW!! Important things first people!
After getting that wall transformed, I tackled the new dresser that I Craigslisted for $50. As you’ll see, it had a lovely shape, but not a lovely color! One coat of primer and 6 spray paint bottles later, wvwallah – a very fun bubble gum pink!
Now for the digits…
Time: oh gosh, all day! (but this is because I am involved in about 237 projects today…..)
Cost: Dresser – $50 + $18 for spray paint = $68, Wall – $12 for paint + $15 for supplies = $27. I’d say that’s a pretty cheap transformation so far. Just wait, it’s getting better tomorrow!
And now for the drawing…..where is that stinkin’ drumroll, I hope I didn’t paint over it…. our winner of their very own Scrabble tile Bracelet IS >>>>
KELLY McCLINTON!!!!
Congratulations!!!! You have 8 letter that you must decide what to do with – no blanks, sorry, I’m out! let me know and I’ll make that right up for you!!!! Stay tuned – next week will have something up it’s sleeve for sure!

Adorable! Last summer, I made over my dresser (looks just like that one!) with glosy white paint and glas pulls! I love it so much! I’m tempted to paint the inside of the drawer a shocking color
YAY!!! I’m stoked! I think I’m going to have to be super creative with these 8 letters… let me figure it out this afternoon while I’ve got my dictionary out lol. I can’t think of any cool words off the top of my head before coffee!
The dresser face lift is prefect. It is what a little girl would want. You have inspired me once again to give my run down old looking bedroom furniture a face lift of its own.
